Anytime during the Interview Process, or after Job Acceptance Personalized counseling and area orientation to assist with relocation. Access to my library of information pertaining to rental units, schools, daycare facilities, shopping, cultural and recreational opportunities, employment opportunities for spouses, demographics, taxes, license requirements, etc. See also my online tour of Cedar Rapids Home search trips for those clients wishing to view the market, or looking to purchase. Additional Services:Arrange temporary lodging Unfurnished apartments or fully furnished condominiums and apartments are available for short-term rental at competitive rates for relocating employees. They are especially ideal for families with children or pets. These units are located throughout the Cedar Rapids area. A listing of these complexes will be provided as requested. Rental Assistance Most of the services and facilities described above are also available to employees who desire to rent. No fee is charged to the corporate client for assistance in finding most rental housing. In some cases, specific housing needs can only be found through an outside rental assistance company, I ask the employee to pay for this nominal charge. However, I will refund this amount if they eventually purchase a home through me. Employees who will be renting will be given the same orientation and informative area tour that is given to employees who are purchasing a home. Furniture Rental Assistance I can provide a list of companies available for those employees who may relocate in advance of the family or those who wish to rent furnishings on a long-term basis. Several packages are available and most allow for upgrades at a small additional cost. Estimates A free home price comparison detailing what a home similar to their own will cost in the Cedar Rapids area. Estimates of closing costs,
monthly payments, and tax benefits.
